Join Sodexo as a Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area
.
Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established procedures, you'll help ensure the factory environment meets the required hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards.
You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a willingness to follow stringent procedures and timelines.
Full training will be provided to help you understand the required processes and responsibilities.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within your assigned areas
- Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery and report any faults or defects
- Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety procedures
- Report hazards and potential dangers to your supervisor
- Follow internal operating procedures and strict GMP requirements
- Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
- Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
- Communicate daily with members of the cleaning team, other staff and customers
- Work proactively to support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team
- Ensure company, client and statutory requirements are followed
- Use PPE as directed and in line with working instructions and procedures
- Work towards agreed targets and standards
- A strong eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Experience in a customer service or customer-facing environment
- The ability to follow strict procedures and timelines
- A willingness to work in isolated areas where required
- The ability to follow stringent GMP dress codes and PPE requirements
- A strong team-working approach and 'can-do' attitude
