Account Director (Permanent) - £55,000 - West London outskirts - Hybrid - Experiential
We re hiring on behalf of an experiential agency that are looking to bolster their client services team with an Account Director. You ll be leaning towards Food & Beverage clients, strategising experiential campaigns and building client relationships/developing account growth. If you have F&B knowledge this is a plus, but similar client sector experience or strong experiential experience is transferable and live events experience is a must.
Our client operates a hybrid working model and requires client services to be hands on at events, nationwide on occasion.
- Partner with clients at a senior level to deeply understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges
- Act as the key point of contact, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of client work
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop best-in-class campaigns, reviewing and assessing work to ensure the highest quality output
- Manage campaign reporting and analysis for both client and internal review
- Identify and drive opportunities to expand existing client relationships
- Own and deliver against commercial targets, providing financial leadership across the account and Campaign Management team
- Lead and contribute to pitches, proposals, and submissions
- Mentor, coach, and guide team members, supporting both campaign success and professional development
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a managerial role within a similar agency environment
- Proven experience working with reputable FMCG, retail, food, or health & beauty brands
- Experience in senior client relationship management, with the ability to manage expectations and build long-term strategic partnerships
- A strong track record of driving business growth in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, controlling spend, and owning P&L
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and conflicting deadlines
- A solid understanding of integrated campaigns, including design, production, logistics, print, staffing, and events
- Excellent project and time management skills, with experience delivering large-scale campaigns
- Natural leadership and people management skills, including hiring, developing, and performance managing teams
- An open, collaborative communication style that fosters high morale and strong performance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to role-model best-practice reporting and briefing
