Main Duties of the JobWe are looking to recruit Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurses to join our critical care team based on the Wexham site. The successful individuals will provide leadership, responsibility and accountability for the management of the Critical Care unit. The post holder will be expected to support the Matron and Head of Nursing in delivering the Trust’s Nursing agenda, ensuring that both local, cross‑site and national quality targets as well as key performance indicators are achieved.

Person Specification Qualifications- Registered General Nurse
- Educated to degree level or working towards a degree
- Recognised post‑registration critical care qualification
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and others
- Ability to identify and manage poor performance
- Effective team building and staff development
- More than 3 years at band 6 in critical care
- Ability to provide strong leadership
- Credible clinical expert
- Experience of writing policies
