Head of Health, Safety & Training | Up to £70K + Benefits | Maidenhead

We are seeking a Head of Health, Safety & Training to develop and implement robust safety strategies, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and fostering a proactive safety culture. The successful candidate will be pivotal in guiding senior leadership and managing a team dedicated to health and safety excellence.

The role involves:

Developing and delivering the organisation's H&S strategy aligned with business goals
Advising senior leadership on H&S risks, trends, and legal obligations
Managing compliance, audits, and external inspections
Overseeing emergency planning, risk mitigation, and incident investigations
Providing training and guidance to management and staff across multiple sites

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification and be a chartered IOSH member or working towards it
Demonstrate extensive experience in senior H&S leadership within diverse and complex environments
Possess excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and strategic influencing skills
Be confident in decision-making, with a strong track record of cultivating a positive safety culture
