Job Description

This position plays a critical role in assisting in the advancement of new products and technologies with the primary purpose of preparing component recipes and prototype making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead technical support, problem solving and troubleshooting for R and D projects in the Pilot Plant.
  • Utilise proper techniques, procedures and training to support and lead the execution of kitchen and Pilot Plant trials and experiments.
  • Apply technical expertise in product formulation, making samples by hand and operating small‑scale equipment such as mixers, caramel cooking, chocolate moulding, coating and decorating.
  • Provide process or product insights and feedback to cross‑functional stakeholders involved in product development trials.
  • Assist in scaling up prototype production for new product launches.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Deep understanding of recipes for culinary and confectionary products.
  • Creative flair and curiosity to innovate with confectionary and snack foods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work alongside product developers.
  • Experience with small‑scale production equipment (mixers, caramel cooking, chocolate moulding, coating and decorating).
