Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Shift: 45 Hours per Week – Days Worked Between Monday to Saturday

Sector: FMCG / Food Manufacturing

We are looking for a strong hygiene professional who enjoys leading teams, driving standards, and continuously improving hygiene systems within a highly regulated production environment. The successful candidate will support the Hygiene Manager and wider site teams to ensure hygiene standards, GMP compliance, and audit readiness are maintained to the highest standards. They will also develop hygiene supervisors and operatives while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

• Previous experience within a hygiene role in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising or leading hygiene teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience preparing for and supporting external audits including BRC.

• Strong understanding of hygiene standards, GMP and factory compliance.
• HACCP Level 3 qualification.
• Experience managing hygiene schedules, procedures and validation processes.
• Good understanding of allergen management and hygiene risk assessments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and documentation creation.

• Internal auditing experience.
• Knowledge of pest management systems.
• Experience coaching and developing teams.
• Experience working with KPI reporting, trend analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
