15.08 per hour holiday paid

Proactive are looking for a practical, reliable Assembly Technician to join our clients workshop team. If you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

The is role purely mechanical assembly assembling conveyor systems.

In this role, you'll assemble and fabricate products and help to ensure everything manufactured meets the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Assemble and fabricate mechanical products and components using engineering drawings and work instructions

• Work closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.

• Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe.

• Support other workshop activities when needed.

• Follow all quality and health & safety procedures.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or workshop environment.

• Able to read engineering drawings and technical instructions.

• Good practical skills and attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Someone who works well both independently and as part of a team.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
