Do you have a basic mechanical background and enjoy hands-on work- using tools, assembling parts, or helping out in a workshop/garage environment? Are you looking for an entry-level role with full training, overtime, and clear long-term progression?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, family-run manufacturer where you'll be trained from the ground up, working on bespoke equipment while developing practical mechanical and engineering skills.

This company designs and manufactures specialist products for the defence and marine sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join their workshop team.

This is a Monday to Friday, days-based position. You'll support the build, assembly, and preparation of components and products, learning directly from experienced engineers. There are overtime opportunities to increase earnings and genuine progression into more skilled mechanical roles.
