The Role:
In this role, you will support the Health & Safety Manager in planning, implementing, andmaintainingthe company’s environmental, health, and safety programs. You will help develop and manage a comprehensive occupational safety framework, conduct safetyinspectionsand risk assessments,participate in incident investigations, deliver training, and carry out related duties as needed. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Health & Safety compliance across all departments and regions.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of Health & Safety systems, programs, and procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through the Safety Committee and employee engagement.
- Investigate incidents,identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments toidentifysafety, environmental, and occupational hazards.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and provide practical improvement recommendations.
- Review and approve customer site risk assessments.
- Deliver safety training, including monthly safety talks andhealth‑preventionprograms.
- Monitor contractor compliance with Safety Policies.
- Act as a safety advisor on projects involving new or improved procedures.
- Travel up to 20% as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
- Relevant third‑level EHS qualification (preferred).
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar EHS role (essential).
- Strong relationship‑building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to train and engage employees.
- Strong planning, organization,time‑management, andmulti‑tasking abilities.
- Analytical problem‑solver with initiative and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team, with resilience under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office; general computer literacy.
Desirable
- Experience with MS SharePoint.
- Knowledge of ISO
9001:2015 or similar quality systems.
- Project management experience.
