We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our QC Raw Materials team
. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality analytical and operational support while ensuring activities are completed within agreed timelines and in accordance with GMP requirements. Working with general guidance from senior team members, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.
As a key member of the team, you will be expected to execute work accurately and efficiently, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality. You will also play an important role in supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, helping to foster a collaborative culture and ensure consistent performance across the department.
This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

- Perform testing of raw material samples and accurately document results in accordance with GMP requirements, approved procedures, and established timelines.
- Critically evaluate analytical data, identify potential issues or trends, and elevate findings to QC Management as appropriate.
- Review and approve data, records, and results generated by other team members, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Lead and support quality system activities, including the investigation and completion of Deviations, Change Controls, OOS/OOT investigations, CAPAs, and other GMP quality records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance GMP compliance, laboratory efficiency, safety, and overall quality performance.
- Effectively manage changing priorities, proactively communicate risks to timelines, and elevate delays or operational challenges when required.
- Support raw material disposition activities and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and ensuring consistently high standards of work within the QC function.
- Champion a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with GMP standards and company procedures.
- Degree or Master's qualification in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working within a QC laboratory and/or GMP manufacturing environment.
- Previous involvement in investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in chemical and/or biochemical testing techniques, with the ability to generate, interpret, and report analytical data accurately and effectively.
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and quality systems, with a track record of maintaining compliance, completing quality documentation, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
