Our client is a leader in Global Supply Chain Solutions offering end-to-end logistics across a network of over 100 offices in 40 Countries. A new exciting role is available due to their rapid growth for a Freight Pricing Executive to join their successful team of Logistics experts.
The successful candidate will have freight forwarding knowledge and previous experience of pricing and be passionate about delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Employment Terms – Freight Pricing Executive
- £30-40k DOE
- Monday to Friday 9-5.30 (hybrid working offered after probation)
- 30 days holiday + bank holidays
- Private healthcare
- Discretionary Annual Bonus (dep on performance and profit)
- Must be able to easily commute to Colnbrook, SL3
- Prepare timely, accurate and competitive air, ocean and road freight quotations for new and existing customers, consistently meeting agreed turnaround
- Partner closely with the sales team to support negotiations, tenders and pricing strategies that improve quote-to-conversion performance.
- Liaise with carriers, overseas offices, partners, suppliers and internal teams to secure competitive rates and service
- Respond promptly to quotation requests, ensuring speed, accuracy and professionalism in all customer
- Maintain and update pricing records, rate sheets and customer agreements, ensuring minimal pricing revisions or
- Support tender submissions and contract pricing activities for key accounts where required.
- Analyze market trends and carrier rate movements to maintain competitiveness while supporting margin
- Ensure all quotations comply with company policies, service standards and operational requirements.
- Provide commercial insights, market feedback and performance updates to sales and management
- Meet or exceed monthly quotation volume targets while maintaining high service
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in freight pricing within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of air and ocean freight operations, pricing structures and commercial
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously in a fast-paced
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional
- Experience using Cargo Wise One or similar freight management systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to tenders, contract pricing or key account pricing is preferred.
