Starting salary £28,064, with annual pay progression through Competency Based Framework (CBF) - Working hours:
37 hours per week standard. Weekend and flexible working may be required.
This role supports the Community Payback Manager to ensure all community payback placements meet policy objectives and comply with legislation. The post holder will establish and maintain relationships with partner organisations, customers and stakeholders to secure adequate placement opportunities for people on probation.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain working relationships with local authorities, charities, schools and other voluntary/statutory organisations.
- Identify, coordinate and manage community payback placement sites ensuring quality standards as set out in the Community Payback Guidance.
- Support the Community Payback Manager in monitoring compliance and reporting.
- Plan and undertake weekend work as required to cover supervisors or to visit project sites, for which a higher rate is paid.
Technical requirement: Must hold a full UK manual driving licence. Automatic licences are not accepted.
Right to work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK and satisfy Civil Service nationality rules.
Experience: Relevant experience in community engagement, volunteering, or similar roles is desirable.
Working ArrangementsHybrid working arrangements available where business needs allow. Standard full-time working hours are 37 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks). Part‑time and flexible working patterns are considered where they meet business needs.
