We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Slough to assist with the appointment of a Senior Neighbourhood Officer on a 3.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 19.09 - 25.19 per hour
Summary:
The Senior Neighbourhood Officer will be responsible for managing tenancy issues tackling anti-social behaviour supporting vulnerable residents overseeing void properties and working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve neighbourhoods and deliver high-quality housing services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive housing management service across a designated geographic area.
- Manage tenancy issues including breaches of tenancy estate management tenancy audits and tenancy fraud prevention.
- Conduct new tenant sign-ups tenancy support visits introductory tenancy reviews and tenancy audits.
- Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour harassment and neighbour disputes taking enforcement action where appropriate.
- Prepare witness statements court documentation and represent the council in legal proceedings when required.
- Oversee void properties ensuring timely tenancy termination and minimising void rent loss.
Qualification:
- A Level qualification.
- Certificate in Housing (Level
3) or equivalent.
Essentials:
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
- Significant experience within Housing Management or Tenancy Management.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation tenancy management rent arrears and anti-social behaviour procedures.
- Experience managing complex tenancy cases and housing enforcement.
- Excellent communication negotiation and report writing skills.
