Working within our established engineering team, the role is based from our London Heathrow workshop; day-to-day tasks will include the booking in and out of equipment, tooling and spare parts, cleaning of equipment prior to returning to customer, and ensuring all paperwork is in place and completed accurately before handing over to the driver for delivery to internal and external sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all paperwork is in place prior to items being delivered or collected
- Scan and print paperwork; to and from the operations team
- Goods receiving in workshop for spare parts and customer equipment
- Use of forklift truck around the workshop (an existing licence is preferable, although training will be provided if needed)
- Ensure vehicles are all clean and well presented
- Dispatch of items and spares from workshop
- Cleaning equipment prior to returning to customers
- Cleaning of workshop, tools and workshop machines
- General other duties as required from time to time
- Work alongside workshop team for asset collection and delivery, and the operations team for courier delivery and collection, including packing of parts
- Manage stock
- Collect and deliver assets as required
Essentials:
- Hold a full, clean, UK driving license
- Experience with importing and exporting shipments
- Asset receipts and control management
- Parts management
- International shipping experience
- Proven experience of good IT skills; this role involves frequent use of technology
- Good understanding of route planning and time management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good at communicating with people at all levels - both internally and customer facing
- Must have adequate right to work in the UK
- Must be able to gain an airport pass - therefore clean personal record and ability to show previous work/educational history up to 5 years prior with references
