Position: Senior Operations/ Export Executive
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Operations/ Exports Executive. The role is a busy role, split into 2 halves, an operations side and covering Air Exports as well. Road and Sea Advantage. Our client is looking for a highly organised individual, Customer focus managing individual dedicated Key Accounts, taking full ownership of customers exports requirements, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently from initial collection through to final delivery.

As main contact, the role will cover, all export process, liaising with customers, carriers, overseas agents, customs authorities and internal departments and distribution. Role involves:
Planning, coordinating and overseeing the distribution of products from the Warehouse to distribution centre, ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective operations. Coordinate with logistics providers, carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery. Looking at transportation costs, and schedules, Implement and maintain distribution policies, procedures and performance standards. Ensure compliance and safety regulations, quality standards and company policies are followed. Resolve operational issues, customer complaints.

Manage all export shipments on behalf of a dedicated customer account. Arrange collections with hauliers and transport providers. Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines and carriers. Prepare and review export documentations, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and shipping instructions. Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements and company procedures. Monitor shipments throughout the transportation process and proactively manage any delays or issues.

Liaise with overseas agents to ensure smooth customs clearance and final delivery. Provide customers with regular shipment updates and tracking information. Handle customer queries and resolve any operational queries. Maintain shipment records and update systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, carriers and overseas partners. Experience required. Previous experience in distribution, logistics and supply chain. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems.

Excellent organisational skills and problem-solving ability. Strong leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Strong understanding of export processes and international shipping documentations.

Experience of coordinating shipments from collection to final delivery. Good export customs experience. Air essential and Sea, road advantage. Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm Flexibility when needed.
