Driving Logistics are looking for Class 1 drivers to work for a client based in Slough. This client is a large outfit specialising in freight distribution throughout the UK and Europe. Therefore, we are after drivers who can commit to various on-going rotas as follows: A level D Security pass for the Airport is desirable, training can be looked at if you don’t hold one.
5 on 2 off to include 1 or 2 days over the weekend.£42

Kpa + Overnight money up to £46

Kpa These positions are 13 week Temp – Perm, at the end of this period you will be Taken on Full time by the  and Europe driving, must be flexible with nights out.

We are ideally looking for experienced drivers who have travelled into Europe before (mainly Belgium).Due to the night out requirement, your comfort is extremely important to them. You will be assigned a new Volvo truck with excellent in cab facilities; in fact, these vehicles really stand out due to the company branding paintwork, unique bodywork and extras fitted to their vehicles.

Deliveries are to RDC’s and collections will be from airports (mainly Heathrow), docks and farms so easy onloads and offloads.

More about the role:. 10 hour minimums
· Shift lengths on average are 12 hours +
· Flexibility is required as start times will vary
· Patience is required, time to chill if you experience delays when collecting from Heathrow airport.
· Drivers are required ASAP – Immediate starts
· Product mainly consists of food and flowers
· Low ride temperature trailers will be pulled when going into Europe Pay Rates:· £23.00ph (inc Holiday Pay)· £25 tax free night out payment for UK. £30 tax free night out money for Europe
· Paid weekly break if working away

All LGV 1 Drivers who apply MUST have:
· At least 24 months LGV 1 experience and MUST have driven LGV 1 vehicles within the last 3 months
· No more than 6 points on your licence.
· Hold a UK driving licence, digital tachograph and CPC card.
· A good and flexible attitude to work.
· Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
· Well presented.
· Good time keeping.
· Willing to learn.
