As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling billing, invoices, preparing income statements and balance sheets, and managing accruals. If you thrive in a challenging and stimulating work environment and have a passion for numbers and financial data, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all aspects of day‑to‑day accounting processes.
- Report on capital spend and capitalized assets appropriately.
- Work with Global Business Service Team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
- Oversee accounts payable processes at the local business unit.
- Assist Global Business Service Team with collections as needed.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Manage accruals and prepaids.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Interact with other team members to ensure all financial data aligns and reconciles.
- Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of financial best practices.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- One to two years of proven experience in an accounting role is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Proven expertise in handling billing, invoices, income statements, balance sheets, and accruals.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The Ideal Candidate Will Also Bring
- CPA or CMA certification would be a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI.
- Prior Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system a plus.
