Experienced Bookkeeper Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join a team in North Carolina on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This position is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple client accounts while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong financial controls. The role requires hands-on expertise with Quick Books Online, Quick Books Desktop, and advanced Excel skills to support reporting, reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete bookkeeping functions for multiple client accounts, ensuring financial records are current, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice handling, payment tracking, and account follow-up.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and maintain clean financial data.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting spreadsheets using Excel to assist with account analysis and decision-making.
• Manage bookkeeping workflows in both Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop based on client needs and reporting requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation for transactions, vendor records, customer accounts, and supporting financial materials.
• Communicate with clients to address bookkeeping questions, gather needed information, and provide updates on account status.
• Support additional accounting-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
