Location: Smithfield, NC – Mills Automotive Group

Compensation: Base salary $62,000 – $100,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses. Full benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation Time, 401(k) Plan, Paid Training, and Vehicle Discounts. Compensation will be tailored to skills and experience.

Classic Ford of Smithfield is seeking experienced Ford Service Advisors to grow our service department. The role involves serving as the primary customer liaison, ensuring maintenance and repair services meet manufacturer guidelines, and driving sales of labor, parts, and accessories.

• Perform service drive walk‑around inspections and accurately record vehicle and client information on repair orders.
• Interact with customers to determine immediate service needs and provide a positive, friendly experience.
• Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers.
• Review service history, multi‑point inspection results, and recommend appropriate service to clients.
• Write and verify accurate repair orders, including supporting documentation for manufacturer warranty claims.
• Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Verify that vehicle services are performed correctly upon completion by inspecting the vehicle prior to return.
• Perform active vehicle deliveries with customers when work is completed.
• Build and maintain knowledge of products and services through on‑the‑job activities and completion of manufacturer training.
• Support service department goals by improving sales of labor, parts, and accessories.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player.

• Trainable with an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Professional appearance with strong organizational skills.
• Technical certification is a plus.
• Manufacturer training certifications are preferred.
