American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Sonographer with 2+ years of experience performing outpatient cardiac ultrasound and Epic charting experience.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required
- BLS certification required
- RDCS certification through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification through CCI required
- License required if applicable
- Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Outpatient setting performing cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
- Monday through Friday day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care
- Perform CPR as needed and may assist with post-procedure patient transport
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, performing daily quality assurance checks
- Generate ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures
- May provide staff training and education
- Monitor and record patient information, manage report storage and data systems, and prepare charge entry data
- Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use, ensuring efficient turnover between procedures
