General Position Summary- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual sales statistics.
- Provide consistent appraisal of sales performance and give feedback on strengths and opportunities.
- Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
- Produce sales gains by delivering quality customer service.
- Meet or exceed company objectives in all sales metrics.
- Document and provide feedback on associate performance.
- Maintain proper merchandising and store cleanliness.
- Adhere to the Dress Code Policy.
- Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
- Prepare store schedules that ensure coverage and wage control.
- Accurately manage inventory, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping.
- Open and close the store following Operations P&P Manual procedures.
- Adhere to all LIDS policies and guidelines.
- Participate in LIDS Training Programs and set sales and task goals.
- Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
- Encourage compliance with company policies, including safekeeping of inventory and funds.
- Perform supervisory tasks as needed.
- Communicate with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relative experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
- Computer proficiency with software programs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
