We are seeking an experienced Butcher with prior experience in all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken in a grocery store meat‑market environment. The ideal candidate is proficient in using band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives to cut all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. Wrapping skills and maintaining sanitation and safety requirements are required. This is a full‑time position with optional company benefits.

The candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and most holidays.

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging, and labeling product.
• Unload trucks and store in the proper place.
• Check product dates and rotate properly.
• Sanitize and clean equipment.
• Keep meat department floors clean of clutter.
• Assist customers in finding products; wait on them at the counter in a timely and cheerful manner.

• Must be able to lift 80 lbs with no assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, friendly, outgoing, neat, and clean in appearance.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be very customer oriented.
• Must be able to read shelf tags, labels, and signs.
• Must have a good work record as a butcher.
