Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our financial client's Workplace Investing Platform Technology team — the group that builds and supports solutions powering their Defined Contribution (401k) business. You’ll partner closely with product owners, developers, and testers to design and deliver scalable technology solutions that improve how millions of customers save for retirement.
2 weeks on site required in Smithfield, RI

Base pay range$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr
Responsibilities- Work with product and engineering teams to define and document system requirements for new features and integrations.
- Analyze existing workflows, data models, and APIs to recommend efficient, scalable solutions.
- Author detailed functional and system specifications for developers and testers.
- Write and execute queries (SQL) to validate data and support troubleshooting.
- Use tools like Postman to test and validate RESTful APIs.
- Support teams through design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Collaborate across global agile teams (U.S. and India) and help guide best practices in systems analysis.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in software development environments.
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum teams (Jira or Jira Align preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SQL, API testing (Postman), and system integration concepts.
- Experience with technologies such as Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle (familiarity is sufficient).
- Ability to translate business processes into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
