Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Systems Analyst.

Summary:

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a key role on a Scrum team. You will be encouraged to gain an understanding of all components of our web applications and will work with the squad to deliver outstanding customer‑experience solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable making personal connections, have a sense of humor, and work closely with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Architects to craft, build, test, and deliver.

• Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
• A demonstrable understanding of the Agile software development methodology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interview business partners to understand project objectives, use cases, and requirements
• Strong analytical skills, enabling you to research, document, and review existing systems and recommend designs to achieve requirements for self‑contained projects within a larger program
• Proficiency in assisting in the writing of user requirements and all supporting documentation
• Ability to diagram business processes and system workflows
• Expertise in conveying technical concepts to internal customers, technical team members, and other contributors across the organization
• Willingness to actively participate in defining project scope/backlog, while recommending solutions to project issues
• Desire to understand WS Digital Platforms’ web and mobile applications, while confidently communicating technical concepts to internal partners inside and outside the Scrum team
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Ability to support Quality Assurance and business partners throughout all testing phases, including triaging system defects in production and non‑production environments

• Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated web‑application development concepts (Spring MVC, Spring Core, XML, CSS, etc.)
• Experience with database query tools/SQL
• Experience with Java and Confluence
• Working understanding of QA automation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably, in good faith, believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
