Multi Modality CT Technologist – Riverside Health

Location:

Smithfield, Virginia (19339 Benn’s Grant Boulevard, Smithfield)

Opening in early 2026. Expected start dates fall 2025.

The Multi‑Modality CT Technologist performs CT and diagnostic exams in the hospital setting, following RHS policy and procedures. Responsibilities include patient preparation, explanation, IV insertions, contrast injections, and documentation.

• Assist radiologists with CT imaging procedures and select appropriate protocols.
• Maintain safety and quality, prevent harm by applying policies, procedures, and ALARA principles.
• Adhere to regulatory and accrediting standards, report variances.
• Coordinate patient care, perform assessments, documentation, and maintain inventory.
• Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment with strong detail orientation.

• Experience
  : CT experience preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications
  :
  • Radiologic Technologist – ARRT Radiology (R), upon hire (required)
  • Radiologic Technologist – ARRT Computed Tomography (CT), upon hire (required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification – AHA/ARC, upon hire (required)
• Other Requirements
  :
  Call rotation, weekend shifts, irregular shifts.
