Senior IT Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Smithfield, VA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: $155,000-$165,000 Per Year
Description: Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT categories. Drive cost optimization and vendor performance. Ensure sourcing practices align with enterprise objectives. Manage vendor negotiations and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver long-term value. Use market intelligence and spend analysis for continuous improvement. Support contract lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across IT categories.
- Lead complex negotiations with IT vendors.
- Oversee vendor evaluations and enforce contract compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to align sourcing strategies with goals.
- Provide data-driven insights and track savings.
- Optimize contract creation, renewals, and amendments.
- Drive a positive employee experience through leadership and development.
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
- 2 years in a leadership role with team management or project leadership.
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing methodologies for IT categories.
- Proven ability in complex contract negotiations and contractual language.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proficiency in general technology tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of strategic sourcing techniques and procurement optimization.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
