Starting at $35.00 per hour

Shift Requirements:
Minimum of 4 shifts per 4‑week schedule, with at least 2 weekend shifts. Irregular shifts are expected.

Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor and ultimately reports to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Director of Quality Care Management. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the planning and implementation of nursing care and ensures the emotional, physical comfort and safety of residents and their families. Assists in the supervision of auxiliary personnel.

• Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability while considering safety and dignity issues, following facility policies and protecting resident privacy.
• Assigns duties to non‑professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident needs to ensure quality resident care is delivered. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modification of individual service plans. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation in accordance with nursing practice standards. Demonstrates consistent follow‑through for positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

• Less than 1 year LPN Nursing Experience in a Long‑Term Care/Senior Living Facility (Required)
• 1 year LPN Nursing Experience (Preferred)

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire (Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days (Required)
