* Schedule:
* Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Qualifications:
* * Minimum
* 2 years of healthcare administration
* experience
* Proficiency with
* EMR systems
*
* * Strong
** Microsoft Office
* skills
* Experience with
* patient checkin, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling
*
* * Excellent
** communication and customer service
* abilities
* Key Responsibilities:
* * Greet patients, answer phones, and
* schedule appointments
*
* * Provide administrative support to physicians and practice management
*
* * Manage and maintain
** patient records
*
* * Scan insurance cards, referral forms, progress notes, and other documentation into the EMR
*
* * Handle
** insurance verifications*, referrals, and authorizations
* Retrieve procedure and exam authorizations as needed
* Maintain and update all information in the
* EMR database
*
* * Support
** billing functions
* and general office workflow
* Job Type & Location
* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smithtown, NY.
* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
