Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

We are looking for an annual tax season only and a full‑time year‑round role for an Accountant at our Smyrna, DE office. The Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, bookkeeping, preparing tax returns for individuals and small companies, and ensuring compliance with regulations to support Client success. Collaboration with team members and direct Client communication will be integral to this role.

• Experience in tax preparation, compliance, and knowledge of financial regulations
• Strong skills in data analysis, problem‑solving, and financial forecasting
• Expertise in accounting software and tools, including spreadsheets and financial systems
• Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and attention‑to‑detail skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working toward the designation is preferred, but not absolute
• Experience working with small businesses or providing consulting services is a plus
