(USA) Manager II, Quality Engineer - Supply Chain
Walmart is hiring a (USA) Manager II, Quality Engineer - Supply Chain to join a part‑time team focused on quality improvement and process excellence within a Distribution Center.
Base Pay Range$/yr – $/yr
Responsibilities- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time‑motion studies to eliminate quality losses and deviations.
- Compile and submit deviations to One Best Way playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
- Manage project execution of top quality losses within the functional area and assist in building the capability of other area managers and associates.
- Develop gap analysis to support Walmart Performance System (WPS) integration and lead quality‑related savings projects within the area of responsibility.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, and mentoring, while fostering a culture of belonging and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Walmart values, and support the Open Door Policy and other compliance initiatives.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying data‑driven decisions, and continuously improving operational excellence.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement, OR 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma experience.
- Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long‑term savings.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and strong analytical skills.
- Experience building and implementing a Quality Management System.
- Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc.
- Quality Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment.
