With the addition of three clinical partners—Jen Atwood, Rick Beeson, and Andrew Fortner—Premier has earned ABPTRFE accreditation for its in‑house Sports Residency and Orthopedic Residency Programs. The practice specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, dry needling, vestibular interventions, splinting, certified hand therapy, industrial injury prevention, post‑concussion treatment, balance training, post‑surgical rehabilitation, athletic training, and the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and injury.

Premier PT serves communities throughout Delaware, providing outreach athletic‑training services to nine high schools and multiple community sport organizations, and currently operates ten outpatient locations across the state.

Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance seeks a motivated, full‑time Physical Therapist to join our energetic outpatient clinic in Smyrna. • Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician referrals, medical records, and patient conditions to determine appropriate physical‑therapy interventions.
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers.
• Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Create written plans of care, set goals, and design comprehensive programs to achieve those goals.
• Implement physical‑therapy treatment programs and provide essential therapeutic services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers’ compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist license and CPR certification.
