Diesel Truck Technician

Our team is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing team!

• Use smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles and mechanical equipment.
• May potentially include mobile service.
• Perform PMI's on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment.
• Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs. Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW and over 26,000 with CDL license.
• Work onsite at customer’s location servicing fleet.
• Work independently.
• Standard tech owned tools are required.
• Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment are provided.

• Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• Use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce health and safety legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions.

• 5+ years experience required.
• Preferred certificate or degree from college or technical school.
• Experience with Detroit Diesel or Allison Transmission a huge plus.

• ASE Certification in PMI & Brakes a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CDL license a plus.
• Must obtain DOT Medical Card.
