Accounting Manager - Modular Solutions

About the Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to help lead the financial side of our growing modular construction business. You will play a hands‑on role in managing day‑to‑day accounting functions while helping shape the processes that support our continued growth.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Lead Financial Operations
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, daily cash flow, general ledger reviews, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting—ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Support and Develop the Team
• Care, drive goal settings, mentor, supervise, and train accounting teams.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure precise job costing, reporting, and financial transparency across projects.
• Processes and Controls
• Maintain solid accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Take initiative as a proactive problem solver.
• Assist with internal and external audits, monitor costs (WIP), and identify opportunities for improvement to streamline operations as we grow.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications) Experience

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in construction, modular building, or manufacturing is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• CPA or CMA a plus.

• Strong grasp of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Confident leader, collaborator, and hands‑on problem solver.
• Able to balance structure with flexibility – and wearer of many hats.
