This is an on-site role at Talently, located in Smyrna, Georgia. In-person - Smyrna, GA - Pay: $60000-$65000 yearly
- Team:
Reports to the Controller; collaborates with production and procurement teams. - Mission:
Contribute to accurate financial reporting and informed business decisions for a manufacturing operation. - Tech Stack: MS Excel, SAP
- Transactions:
Record and reconcile daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions. - Reporting:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. - Inventory:
Support inventory costing, cycle counts, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold calculations. - Close Process:
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. - Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts, actively researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Foundational knowledge of cost accounting, financial accounting, and manufacturing operations. - Experience:
0-2 years of related accounting experience, including internships, with demonstrated experience in AP/AR processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. - Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication in English. - Bonus:
Experience with SAP or another ERP system, prior accounting experience within a manufacturing environment, or progress toward CPA certification.
