Camera Quality Inspection Technician
Join KEH Camera, the leading provider of pre‑owned camera gear for the global photography community. As a Camera Quality Inspection Technician you’ll be responsible for ensuring every item meets our high‑quality standards before it reaches customers.
Location & CompensationOn‑site, Smyrna, GA. Starting pay $15.00 per hour with advancement and performance‑based incentives.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test photographic equipment – digital, 35mm, medium format, and large format cameras, lenses, and accessories.
- Identify functional or cosmetic issues such as haze, dust, fungus, scratches, or mechanical faults.
- Grade equipment based on KEH’s standardized quality scale.
- Record and document all findings accurately in our internal systems.
- Collaborate with Receiving and Sorting teams to maintain workflow and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle all tools and equipment with care.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
- A natural curiosity or interest in how mechanical or electronic devices work – photography interest is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and document findings clearly.
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfort working while seated or standing for long periods, and using small tools with care.
- Bonus if you have experience with electronics, camera equipment, or quality control – but not required.
