The Technical Training Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of Learning & Development technical and/or trade‑related training and services. This includes coordination and facilitation of technical and/or trade‑related classes, design and development of curriculum, jobsite audits, and on‑site coaching.

Key Responsibilities- Effectively facilitates electrical apprenticeship, Quick Start, and trade‑related training classes.
- Collaborates with Apprenticeship Team to research and recommend content, develop, pilot, and implement new trade‑related programs.
- Designs and develops technical and/or trade‑related curriculum based on organizational needs.
- Conducts jobsite or on‑site coaching and development of employees related to audits or novel work scenarios.
- Develops relationships with operational leaders to foster open dialogue and trust.
- Supports and provides guidance to Apprenticeship Coordinator on program coordination.
- Works with L&D team and subject‑matter experts to continuously improve content, activities, and delivery of technical programs.
- Continually increases knowledge of L&D craft.
- Actively participates in professional and trade‑related organizations.
- Demonstrates acceptance of company culture, professional standards, and ability to model these standards to trainees.
- Shows approachability, collaboration, and influencer skills.
- Education:
Completion of an apprenticeship program or an associate/bachelor’s degree. - Experience:
Strong technical background with 5 years related experience in the electrical, specialty systems, or related trade, plus 1–2 years facilitation experience. - Travel:
Up to 25 %. - Work schedule:
Typical hours 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; may be required at any time to meet business needs.
