Compass Academy in Smyrna is currently looking for energetic, loving and reliable teachers for all ages.

Our goal is to be as eco‑friendly as possible and to create a natural learning ambiance with organic practices and indoor and outdoor classrooms and our curriculum is an eclectic mix of the Montessori and the play method.

• Supervise and promote activities designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of each child.
• Implement appropriate lesson plans with a variety of materials in the various content areas.
• Maintain assessments of each child's development and prepare parent reports.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the guidelines in the employee handbook.
• Provide outstanding customer service, remain organized, and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Exhibit sensitivity and maturity when relating to children and adults.

• 1–2 years of Early Childhood Education Experience or previous childcare experience strongly desired.
• Must possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or any major with relevant experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet state‑specific guidelines for the role.

• Full‑time (up to 40 hours/week) or part‑time schedule.
