What You’ll Do- Serve as a discipline expert, leading design concepts and analyses for moderate to large projects.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and client teams to develop design approaches, perform engineering studies, and ensure code‑aligned documentation.
- Mentor junior staff, review technical work for accuracy, and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop discipline budgets, schedules, and workplans, updating plans in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and local authorities to define scope, incorporate standards, and resolve model/drawing collisions.
- Conduct job‑site visits to monitor progress, comment on design specs, and verify construction quality.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, proposals, client presentations, and internal training sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited college.
- 12+ years of applicable discipline design and analysis experience.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Advanced knowledge of industry software (Revit, AutoCAD) and discipline‑specific tools.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and mentorship skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering theories, design procedures, and applicable codes.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple activities and mentor team members.
- Ability to visualize design solutions and effectively communicate across disciplines.
