Title: Category Leader (Contracts Manager)

Location: Smyrna, GA - 2-3 days hybrid

Duration: 3-6 month Contract to Permanent

Compensation: $40/hr to $50/hr.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Category Leader with a strong background in technology sourcing and contract management to support our client’s procurement operations. This role offers exposure to a wide range of deals—from software and hardware to marketing and business services—making it ideal for professionals looking to broaden their experience or settle into a long‑term position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives primarily focused on technology (software and hardware), with opportunities to support other business categories.
  • Manage contract renewals and procurement of new services, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
  • Support contract administration tasks and contribute to sourcing strategy development.
  • Engage with cross‑functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and drive cost efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in contract management or administration.
  • Experience working in hardware and/or software contracts, sourcing and procurement.
  • Experience in contract renewals or procuring new services.
  • Self‑Starter mentality.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Basic Office 365 knowledge.
  • Business and technology procurement and contract experience.
