- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least ten years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing all aspects of ground-up projects in healthcare, financial, and light industrial sectors
- Ability to manage more than 2 projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in large-scale ground-up projects like office buildings or industrial facilities
- Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Proficient in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Proactive and results-oriented problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
- Leadership: ability to supervise and lead the team
- Organization: schedule and supervise multi-tasking work of a multi-member team
- Experience:
proven knowledge in commercial building and related sectors - Problem-Solving: strong problem-solving skills
- Communication: excellent communication with team, Project Management, and customers

Skills:
proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient with technology
- Ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills with project owners to tradespeople
- Basic understanding of the construction process, materials, equipment, and techniques
- 3-5 years minimum of project management experience
- Travel up to 30%
- Manages the project budget, writes contracts, approves invoices and updates the project schedule
- Coordinates among subcontractors and helps resolve issues or conflicts
- Organizes, processes, and distributes project documents
- Creates the project schedule
- Expedites documents and material/equipment deliveries to meet the project schedule
- Maintains cost control data and prepares cost reports
- Maintains long-term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees
- Develops short interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings
- Conducts implementation and tracking of LEED requirements
- Administers document control for shop drawings, submittals, subcontracts/purchase orders, insurance certificates/bonds, RFIs, plans and specifications, warranties/as-builts, notices to owner, change orders, back charges
- Reviews shop drawings and submittals for contract document compliance
- Completes subcontractor payment/vendor invoice processing
- Attends project-related meetings and disseminates minutes and attendees
- Writes weekly reports with notes from superintendent
- Manages close-out procedures and activities
- Ensures safety rules and regulations are followed at the project site
The typical work environment is an office setting with standard office equipment. The role may require some site visits and travel as needed.
