Powers Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Residential Service Electrician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time role is perfect for a self-motivated technician with strong residential electrical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to craftsmanship. From service calls to panel upgrades and lighting installations, you’ll play a key role in delivering top-tier electrical solutions to homeowners across the Atlanta Area.

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in residential homes
• Install and troubleshoot systems including panels, circuits, lighting, and outlets
• Perform safety inspections and recommend necessary upgrades
• Respond to emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding issues and solutions
• Coordinate with the Residential Service Manager on schedules and material needs
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
• Document job details, materials used, and take progress photos
• Support inspection and permitting requirements

• 5+ years of experience in residential electrical service.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners
• Familiarity with blueprints and electrical schematics
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• $30–$40/hour base pay

Full-time:
Monday–Friday

Overtime opportunities available

Based in Cobb County, GA (primarily Smyrna and surrounding residential service areas)

On-site role with local travel as needed
