Powers Electrical Solutions is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time, on‑site role is ideal for a reliable technician with at least 5 years of experience who can manage small commercial electrical projects independently and assist with larger‑scale jobs as part of a team. You’ll work on a variety of commercial service tasks, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction in every environment—from office buildings to retail and industrial facilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair commercial electrical systems, including lighting, panels, circuits, transformers, and emergency power.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks to ensure full code compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, power distribution, and equipment wiring.
Respond to urgent service calls to minimize client downtime.
- Customer Interaction
- Communicate effectively with property managers, business owners, and contractors.
- Recommend safety improvements, upgrades, and efficient solutions.
- Maintain a professional appearance, punctuality, and high service standards.
- Project Coordination
- Collaborate with the Commercial Service Manager on schedules, materials, and job scope.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and all local building/electrical codes.
- Assist in coordinating inspections, permits, and utility approvals.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Keep accurate records of materials, service performed, and job status.
- Capture photos and notes to support documentation and warranty purposes.
- Provide timely updates to management regarding job progress and completion.
Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience required
Ability to manage small projects with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of commercial systems, including three‑phase and low voltage
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
Skilled in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
High school diploma or GED preferred
Journeyman license is a plus but not required
$30–$40/hour base pay
