Senior Java Developer

Job Description

An Insight Global fortune 500 retail client is seeking two experienced senior Java Developers to support a large-scale initiative within its Platform. This team is responsible for building resilient backend systems that maintain order state throughout the customer purchase journey, enabling seamless transitions across channels and devices while ensuring order continuity and recovery. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy designing scalable cloud-based systems, solving complex business challenges, and contributing to highly visible customer-facing projects.

Compensation:$50/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong Java development experience preferably with Java 14
  - Hands-on experience building applications with Spring Boot
• Experience developing cloud-native applications GCP preferred AWS or Azure experience also considered
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend service architecture
  
  Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Experience working with POS systems
  
  Retail experience
