Lead Fullstack Developer

Job Description

An Insight Global Fortune 500 Retail Client is looking for a talented lead fullstack engineer to join their US based team. This engineer will support the clients payment platform, a high-visibility application that drives billions in annual sales. Work will focus on improving platform stability, modernizing the application through a front-end rewrite to the new tech stack, and delivering enhancements that improve the customer checkout experience.

The role is approximately 80% hands-on development and 20% technical leadership, including code reviews, mentoring engineers, and promoting frontend best practices. The consultant will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, QE, and product leadership while helping shape the future architecture of a mission-critical retail platform.

Compensation:$50/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Frontend:
  React / Backend javao 70% react 30% java
• Mentorship experienceo Will be providing guidance on front end best practices, code reviews, etco 80% hands on work vs 20% mentorship
• Cloud experience neededo GCP preferred, but not required
• AI experience strongly preferred
