Group Exercise Coordinator

Group Exercise Director/Coordinator Primary Qualifications

• Very positive and energetic personality
• A passion for group exercise classes
• Great communicator and must work hand in hand with all group exercise staff and in addition with club managers
• Excellent communication, time management, organization skills

• Aerobics Coordinator:
  Bachelor's Degree preferred or 5 years experience
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross CPR certification required
• Certifications:
  
  ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, etc.
• Oversee all group exercise schedules for World Gym Smyrna
• Communicate with the instructors
• Track member attendance of classes weekly and monthly
• Create a sub-list of instructors to cover classes if cancelled
• Ensure classes do not get cancelled and all instructors arrive to all classes on time
• Keep updated listing of instructors certification certificates
• Spend 15-20 hours weekly in the club asking members to evaluate classes and gain feedback, also meeting with the club manager marketing/social media
• Be reachable and available to other instructors with questions and emergencies
• Build a network of area instructors and look to create the best class schedules to create raving fans
• Must teach 5 classes per week

Compensation: $17,500.00 - $18,500.00 per year
