Role Overview
The Keg Dunnage Handler is responsible for organizing and palletizing kegs, maintaining inventory dunnage, picking and loading keg trucks, floor loads, transfers, and maintaining facility, parking lot, and dock areas. Additional duties may include inventory control, sales pick‑up, shipping and receiving, replenishment, and returns.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strongly preferred: at least six months of experience in a similar position.
• Experience operating electric pallet jack, forklift, and other power equipment preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly performance goals.
• Pick and load keg trucks as needed.
• Pick and load floor loads/transfers to other distributors and branches/special events/sales pickup.
• Organize, palletize, and shrink‑wrap empties or partial kegs.
• Load dunnage back onto trucks and keep accurate count (Bill of Lading).
• Organize, palletize unsaleable bad kegs.
• Empty trash bins.
• Transfer shrink‑wrap bin to the 5500 area and retrieve an empty when it is full.
• Keep dunnage, parking lot, and docks clean using a blower.
• Inventory dunnage.
• Perform and submit a daily power equipment checklist to the appropriate manager.
• Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and some dust and fumes from power equipment.

Physical Requirements And Essential Functions

• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Perform lifting up to 180 lbs.
• Operate a hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forklift.
• Stand, walk, reach with arms, lift and carry; use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Stack, un‑stack, and roll large amounts of product throughout the day.
• Have specific vision abilities required for close and distance vision and distance judgement.
