Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team at SRM Concrete.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations and assist with month‑end close procedures.
• Assist with preparation for audits and quarterly reporting requirements.
• Resolve complex issues with strong analytical abilities and provide resolution to senior management.
• Analyze current business workflows and productivity.
• Communicate clearly and maintain accuracy, organization in a high‑volume dynamic environment.
• Team player helping on projects and training accounting staff.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
• Full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Prioritize and balance multiple job duties.
• Meet deadlines and exhibit excellent communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting or private sector accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Quick Books, Concur, or other ERP systems.

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient with accounting software.
• Understanding and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.
