Concrete Forming Crew Leader

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Concrete Forming Crew Leader to oversee and guide our forming crew on construction sites. This leadership role is hands-on and critical to ensuring the successful execution of formwork for concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a crew in the setup, installation, adjustment, and dismantling of formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete elements
• Interpret and communicate construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to crew members
• Coordinate daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and enforce job site safety rules and procedures
• Conduct job site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project schedules and resolve field issues
• Monitor material and equipment needs; coordinate deliveries and maintain an organized work area
• Train and mentor crew members, promoting skill development and teamwork
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and daily progress
• Assist in concrete placement and finishing as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in concrete forming, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong understanding of concrete forming systems (e.g., wood, steel, gang forms, custom builds)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
• Physically capable of performing manual labor and working in outdoor conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
