Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate concrete pump trucks, setting up all the necessary equipment and ensuring proper handling and delivery of concrete.
- Work closely with the site team to fill forms, columns, walls, and floors as specified in construction plans.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and routine repairs on pump trucks and ancillary equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues while on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to construction activities.
- Comply with all safety regulations and standards specific to concrete pumping and general construction site safety.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including details of concrete delivery volumes, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or anomalies encountered during operations.
- Coordinate with construction managers and crew to optimize pour schedules and address any concerns related to concrete placement.
- Provide guidance and support to new team members or assistants, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; certification from a technical school or vocational training in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or similar role within the construction industry.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Solid understanding of concrete properties, pump truck mechanics, and maintenance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication abilities and a team-player attitude.
- Physical fitness and the capacity to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Adherence to all safety protocols with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.
