- Manages suppliers to ensure parts meet Nissan quality standards; reviews suppliers’ assemblies and offers improvement suggestions; works with suppliers to eliminate repetitive quality concerns and establish permanent countermeasures; rates suppliers based on response to quality issues.
- Leads supplier change requests and gives production part approval based on Nissan Product Quality Procedure (NPQP) requirements.
- Coordinates analysis of quality and warranty reports to investigate production and customer satisfaction concerns; determines root cause and leads suppliers in developing solutions; ensures countermeasures are successfully adopted.
- Leads troubleshooting of quality concerns and equipment or tooling problems; recommends tooling modifications as required; submits and follows up on purchase requisitions and work orders; reviews current model Dispersion Control (DCC) and process control parameters; monitors data to recommend corrective action and implement changes.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- A four‑year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, or Engineering Technology.
- Day travel up to 80%, overnight travel up to 80%. Frequent or extended travel, including international travel, may be required.
